Cybersecurity Analyst

Core responsibilities

• Incident response :

Investigate security breaches, respond to events in real-time, and create detailed incident reports.

Identify and fix security weaknesses in computer and network systems.

Install and maintain security software, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption programs.

Perform risk assessments to identify potential threats and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Develop and enforce security standards, best practices, and disaster recovery plans to protect the organization's data.

Generate reports on security metrics, attempted attacks, and security breaches for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Train and educate employees on security awareness and best practices.

Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

Watch for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and cyber threats on the organization's networks and systems.
