Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in both functional and automated testing of complex applications. This role requires a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and a proven ability to design and implement robust automation frameworks. You will be a key contributor to our quality assurance efforts, ensuring our products are reliable and bug-free through meticulous testing and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities Strategy and Automation :

• Design and create comprehensive test strategies and test plans for new releases.
• Develop high-quality test scenarios, test cases, and automated test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Implement and maintain robust test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and Collaboration :
• Actively participate in all agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure a robust defect management process by logging, tracking, and reporting defects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and successful and Reporting :
• Execute both functional and automated tests and create detailed test closure reports.
• Provide clear and concise status reports on testing progress, defect trends, and overall quality & Testing Experience :
• 5 to 10 years of experience in the software industry, with 5-7 years dedicated to test automation.
• Excellent understanding of the full testing lifecycle, from requirements analysis to UAT.
• Hands-on experience creating and executing test cases, logging and tracking defects, and reporting test & Programming Skills :
• Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools like SpecFlow and Watir.
• Excellent command over C# or Ruby.
• Sound understanding and experience with Behavioral-driven frameworks using Cucumber.
• Practical experience with database and SQL skills for data validation and test & Methodologies :
• Experience with CI / CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
• Proficiency in integrating test automation with version control tools like GitHub.
• Proven experience working in Agile methodologies using Scrum or Skills :
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with other programming languages like Python or Java.
• Knowledge of cloud testing environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
