Role Overview : The Production Manager will lead all manufacturing operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production aligned with Swastik Synergys principles. The role involves planning, execution, and optimization of machining, fabrication, assembly, and testing activities related to fire suppression systems. Key Responsibilities : 1. Plan and execute production schedules to achieve on-time delivery with zero defects. 2. Supervise fabrication, painting, assembly, and testing operations. Implement ZED manufacturing principlesfocus on Zero Defect (quality) and Zero Effect (environmental sustainability). Drive process standardization, 5S implementation, and continual improvement initiatives. 3. Manage manpower deployment, skill training, and productivity monitoring. 4. Coordinate with Purchase, Design, and Quality Control teams to ensure workflow alignment. 5. Ensure compliance with ISO, ZED, and other statutory safety and quality requirements. 6. Monitor equipment performance, preventive maintenance, and downtime reduction. 7. Track production KPIs such as yield, rework, cost, and on-time completion. 8. Prepare production reports and assist in management reviews and audits. Qualifications and Experience : Education : Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering. Experience : 5-10 years in production management; preference for candidates from fire suppression, pressure vessel, or fabrication-based engineering industries. Technical Skills : -Familiarity with fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly processes -Understanding of ZED, ISO 9001, and lean manufacturing systems -Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and BOMs ERP and MS Office proficiency for production reporting
