Postdoctoral Researcher

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Centre of Excellence for Sports Science and Analytics, IITM. The Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for conducting research and analysis in real-world research problems. The goal of the project is to design, create AI prototypes for deployment in institutions.Candidate have to travel and stay at other IITs and other parts of India for system deployment .

QualificationsEssential : A PhD degree / Thesis submission(A PhD degree in computer science or Electrical engineering or relevant discipline with a deep interest in pursuing research)

Desired : Experience / Exposure to computer vision, data analytics, sport science, Machine Learning.Experience in coding. (Python preferably).

Salary : As per IIT Madras Norms

Principal Investigator : Prof. Babji Srinivasan, Department of Applied Mechanics and Biomedical Engineering, IIT Madras.Duration : Initially for one year, later extendable based on the performance
