Job Description :

• Use electrical team inputs (cable list etc.,) to understand source and destination points for cables, including end connection inside cabinet where applicable
• Analyze and segregate various cables considering EMC classes
• Identify exact source and destination points in mechanical structure 3D
• Perform and implement cable design and cable routing optimally in UG NX Routing, considering the cable installation and assembly aspects and constraints
• Perform cable routing considering EMC & safety requirements
• Consider support structure, space constraints within mechanical structure during cable routing
• Ensure Optimal path for the cable installation
• Interact and collaborate with various stakeholders (electrical / mechanical design teams, cross-functional teams etc.,) to understand project need
• Perform self-check and peer-check and ensure cables are routed / terminated according to the design
• Use 3D cable routing information and develop installation drawings as needed
• Ensure length of cable according to the cable routing done in NX / 3D is enough for installation, and not too long or not too short
• Support and provide 3D cable routing data to prepare work instructions
• Knowledge on MS-Excel Macros etc.,
