Role Overview :
As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our infrastructure, from design and implementation to maintenance and monitoring.
You will lead a team of DevOps engineers, championing automation, CI / CD best practices, and a "fail-fast, learn-fast" mindset.
This is a critical role that will directly impact the availability, scalability, and security of our Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on [e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP].
- Architect and optimize CI / CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments across all environments.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of DevOps / SRE engineers.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Manage containerization and orchestration of applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Work closely with development teams to improve application performance, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in the DevOps and SRE space.
- Champion security best practices and implement automated security scanning and vulnerability Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role.
- Extensive hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven experience with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
- Deep knowledge of IaC tools, especially Terraform.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux systems administration.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration to Have :
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA).
- Experience with GitOps workflows and tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
- Experience with serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
