Job descriptionAnalyze existing Python applications and scripts to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and code smells. Refactor, optimize, and modularize legacy code for better maintainability and performance. Implement coding best practices, design patterns, and PEP8 standards. Conduct detailed code reviews and recommend technical improvements. Work closely with product owners and data teams to ensure functionality and business logic remain intact after refinement. Debug and resolve issues in existing systems efficiently. Write clear documentation for changes and improvements. Suggest automation and performance tuning opportunities across existing pipelines or services. Bachelor's degree required in computer science, information technology, or related field. Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) and hands-on experience with core libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy, multiprocessing, etc.). Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design principles. Experience in code profiling, debugging, and performance optimization, Py Spark, SQL, PySQL Experience with data-driven systems, APIs, or data pipelines is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of deliverables. Excellent communication and documentation skills
