Azure Engineer - Server & Database Migration

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, plan, and execute server and database migration strategies to Azure cloud platform
• Assess existing infrastructure and recommend migration approaches
• Perform lift-and-shift or re-architecture as required for seamless migration
• Monitor migration progress and resolve issues proactively
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth transition
• Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and security
• Maintain documentation of migration processes and configurations
• Provide post-migration support and troubleshooting

Qualifications and Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus). Proven experience as a Project Manager in [Industry-specific] projects. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Lean. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, Jira). Excellent leadership, team management, and organizational skills. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and resource management. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
