Medical Editor (Credentialing, Licensing & RCM) (Night Shift - Remote) - Work from Home
Our client is looking for a Medical Editor for their US Medical Credentialing, Licensing & RCM business Domain working 100% Remote in US hours, 9am EST - 6pm EST. This is a full time role working 40 hours / week starting ASAP.
They are seeking a meticulous and experienced Medical Editor to join their team. The Medical Editor plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and regulatory compliance of medical content across various formats within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities :
Content Editing and Proofreading :
- Edit and proofread medical content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines and business requirements.
- Command over SEO optimized content writing concepts.
- Skilled in the art of website content writing.
- Verify references, data accuracy, and consistency in terminology and style.
Quality Control :
Conduct thorough reviews of content to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, syntax, and formatting.Ensure consistency in messaging and adherence to industry-specific guidelines and regulationsCollaboration and Communication :
Work closely with medical writers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to maintain consistency and accuracy in medical communication.Should act as a team lead, editor and proof reader for the content team.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address feedback and ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.Project Management Support :
Assist in managing project timelines and priorities, coordinating with team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.Contribute to the development of editorial processes and standards to improve the efficiency and quality of deliverables.Additional :
Review / improve website copies, blog posts, articles, press releases, product descriptions, and similar creative contentReview / improve engaging, high-level content aimed at healthcare decision-makers, driving lead generation and brand positioning across services like RCM, billing, licensing & credentialing.with direction from the SEO Manager, you would develop comprehensive, SEO-optimized medical billing & coding guides across multiple specialties translating complex compliance and regulatory data into accessible, high-impact resources.Collaborate with the SEO team to provide SEO content or optimize existing content with the provided SEO keywordsRevise or edit content as per the instructions, guidelines, and standards required.Produce high-quality, AI-free, and plagiarism-free content.Qualifications :
Proven experience as a medical editor or in a similar editorial role within the healthcare industry.Strong editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.Familiarity with medical terminology, and publication standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines relevant to medical communications.We’re looking for someone who has :
At least 2 - 3 years of experience in Medical Credentialing & RCM content experienceAt least 8 years of experience editing / writing in US English.A mastery of US English grammar.Fluent in written and spoken English.100% Remote work from homeInterview Process :
