A Day in the Life

Medtronic is expanding their footprint for Diabetes Care with a center in Pune and as the Team Lead Refunds India this role is responsible for the supporting staff training efforts providing technical feedback on specific work items system usage and policies and procedures within Patient Financial Services.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

As a Team Lead Refunds you will work in conjunction with Patient Financial Services Management team to identify unit priorities and realign staff and workflow as appropriate.

• To review and verify refund requests against patient and insurance accounts ensuring correct identification of credit balances and overpayments for processing
• Evaluate credit balances in patient and insurance accounts to determine refund eligibility.
• Initiate process and document refunds based on payer contracts internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor trends in refund requests and identify root causes to proactively reduce future overpayments or processing errors.
