Key Responsibilities :

• Compliance Landscape Ownership - Monitor, interpret, and manage evolving regulatory and certification requirements.
• SME Network Management - Build and manage relationships with internal subject matter experts and external advisors.
• Embedded Compliance in Product Development - Integrate compliance requirements into product design and engineering from the concept phase.
• Process Integration & Governance - Ensure compliance processes are embedded in R&D workflows and design gates.
• Product Assessments & Gate Reviews - Conduct risk assessments, compliance evaluations, and approve readiness for product launch.
• Audit, Certification & Documentation Management - Manage technical files, declarations of conformity, and coordinate with test labs and certification bodies.

Must-Have Skills & Experience :

• 12+ years of compliance experience in R&D, preferably in electronics, energy, embedded systems, or industrial automation.
• Deep knowledge of EU, US, and international regulatory standards relevant to the compliance areas listed above.
• Proven experience in risk assessment, certification audits, and compliance documentation.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable engineering tasks.
• Hands-on experience working with third-party test labs, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
