Expected Skills / Competency / JD

• Heroku Platform Expertise – Hands-on experience with deploying, scaling, and managing apps on Heroku.
• Programming Skills – Proficiency in languages / frameworks commonly deployed on Heroku (Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, Go).
• Database Management – Experience with Heroku Postgres, Redis, and data migration strategies.
• Add-ons & Integrations – Familiarity with Heroku add-ons ecosystem (e.g., logging, caching, monitoring tools).
• CI / CD Implementation – Knowledge of Heroku Pipelines, Git-based deployments, and automated release workflows.
• Security & Compliance – Understanding of OAuth, API security, SSL, and environment variable management.
• App Performance Optimization – Ability to tune dyno configurations, caching strategies, and database performance.
• Cloud Integrations – Experience integrating Heroku apps with Salesforce, AWS, or other cloud services.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting – Skilled in using tools like Heroku Logs, New Relic, or Datadog for debugging and performance tracking.
• Agile & Collaborative – Ability to work in agile teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and adapt to evolving project needs.
