Job Title : Construction Manager Electrical (Substation / Oil & Gas)

Interview Location : Chennai

Work Location : Saudi Arabia

Experience : 12-18 years

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the construction and installation of electrical systems for HV / MV substations, switchyards, and oil & gas facilities.
• Manage and coordinate daily construction activities at the site including subcontractor supervision, labor planning, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE), and oil & gas industry standards (e.g., API, ASME).
• Interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and control wiring drawings.
• Monitor the installation of transformers, GIS / AIS systems, switchgear, cabling, protection & control panels.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, QA / QC, and commissioning teams.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction issues on-site.
• Ensure timely project completion while controlling cost and scope.
• Conduct regular inspections, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
• Track project progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and third-party inspectors.
