About the Role :

Yash Technologies is seeking an experienced and motivated SAP OpenText xECM Consultant to join our dynamic and collaborative team. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, customization, and integration of OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) solutions with SAP landscapes.

You will work directly with cross-functional teams and clients to gather business requirements, design scalable content management solutions, and deliver high-impact projects across industries. This is a hands-on consulting role requiring deep knowledge of the OpenText product suite and a strategic mindset to align technical solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead or contribute to the design, configuration, and deployment of OpenText xECM for SAP solutions.
• Customize OpenText Content Server and Archive Server as per client-specific business processes.
• Integrate xECM with SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, HR, etc.) to enable contextual document management.
• Configure metadata models, permissions, lifecycles, workflows, and category structures in OpenText.
• Develop and maintain integration components between SAP and OpenText using WebServices, REST APIs, LAPI, and other available connectors.
• Implement and enhance workflows using OpenText Workflow Engine, WebReports, and OScript scripting.
• Support custom application development using Java, .NET, and scripting languages where necessary.
• Monitor and maintain xECM and Content Server environments, ensuring performance, availability, and data integrity.
• Identify and resolve issues related to document archiving, access control, SAP data linking, and metadata synchronization.
• Manage content migrations and upgrades in accordance with best practices and client requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts and SAP functional consultants to gather requirements and align xECM solutions with enterprise processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members during implementation cycles.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including solution architecture, configuration, and training materials.
• Assist in pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, and client presentations as required.
