Job Opportunity : Deans – Faculty of Management & Faculty of Basic & Applied Sciences

Location : Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur, Rajasthan

Job Type : Full-time | Senior Leadership Role

Position Overview

VGU invites distinguished academic leaders to join as :

  • Dean – Faculty of Management
  • Dean – Faculty of Basic & Applied Sciences

These senior leadership roles are pivotal in shaping academic strategy, strengthening research culture, enhancing institutional quality, and driving national and global collaborations. The ideal candidates will bring visionary leadership, a strong academic background, and a track record of institutional development.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead academic vision, planning, and execution across programs and departments.
  • Ensure curriculum quality, innovation, and alignment with industry and global standards.

    • Faculty Development & Mentorship

  • Mentor faculty members for academic growth, research productivity, and pedagogical enhancement.
  • Drive recruitment, evaluation, and development initiatives for academic staff.

    • Research, Innovation & Entrepreneurship

  • Strengthen the research ecosystem within the faculty.
  • Promote funded research projects, high-quality publications, patents, and collaborations.
  • Foster innovation-driven initiatives and partnerships.

    • Accreditation, Rankings & Quality Assurance

  • Lead accreditation processes (national and international), rankings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to academic standards, regulatory norms, and quality benchmarks.

    • Industry & Global Collaborations

  • Build partnerships with industry, research organizations, and global academic institutions.
  • Promote internships, experiential learning, exchange programs, and joint research ventures.

    • Eligibility Criteria

  • Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
  • Extensive academic and administrative leadership experience at reputed higher education institutions at the level of Professor
  • Proven track record of research contributions , publications, and academic excellence.
  • Demonstrated experience in institutional development , policy formulation, and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
