Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced L3 Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and working knowledge of Java , with a passion for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ensuring application stability in production environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide Level 3 (L3) support for production applications built on Ruby on Rails and Java.
  • Perform root cause analysis for complex issues and implement permanent fixes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve escalated issues and deliver hotfixes or patches.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles , runbooks, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical incident support.
  • Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth deployments and releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Primary :
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails (3+ years).
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.G., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Secondary :
  • Working knowledge of Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate preferred).
  • Additional Skills :
  • Familiarity with Linux / Unix environments and shell scripting.
  • Experience with REST APIs , debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
