NPD Manager

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven New Product Development (NPD) Manager to lead our product innovation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing the entire product development lifecycle, from concept through launch, and possess excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the end-to-end new product development process, including ideation, design, testing, and launch.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely and successful product introductions.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and customer needs.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for NPD projects.
• Manage cross-functional teams and external partners / vendors to meet project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal protocols.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product development processes.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in product development, preferably in [industry-specific, e.g., FMCG, electronics, automotive, etc.]
• Strong project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with product lifecycle management tools and project management software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
