Role Overview

The Senior – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for leading the Finance & Accounts

function, ensuring robust financial governance, statutory compliance, strategic financial

planning, and effective cost management. The role demands a strong business acumen,

leadership skills, and the ability to partner with senior management for financial performance

and supporting growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

 Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

 Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.

 Partner with senior leadership to drive profitability and cost optimization.

Accounting & Compliance

 Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

 Ensure statutory compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, and

other regulations.

 Handle audits (statutory, tax, internal) and liaise with auditors, consultants, and

regulatory authorities.

Treasury & Fund Management

 Manage working capital, liquidity planning, and cash flow optimization.

 Handle banking relationships, credit facilities, and fund-raising activities.

 Monitor forex exposure and manage risks.

MIS & Reporting

 Develop robust MIS systems and dashboards for management reporting.

 Ensure timely and accurate financial reports to management and the board.

 Support investor presentations, board meetings, and strategy reviews.

Team Leadership & Governance

 Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.

 Strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and SOPs.

 Ensure ethical financial practices and strong corporate governance.

Key Skills & Competencies

 Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS).

 Expertise in taxation (Direct & Indirect) and corporate laws.

 Proven track record in financial planning, cost control, and profitability improvement.

 Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability.

 Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Background

 Qualified CA with 5– 10 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts.

 Exposure to corporate finance, fund-raising, and investor relations will be an advantage.

 Prior experience in real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, or large diversified groups

preferred.
