Manager, Legal Affairs

Job Overview :

The Legal Manager will be the primary legal liaison for the office, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, protecting intellectual property rights, managing contracts, and mitigating legal risks. The role requires strong expertise in media and entertainment law, copyright / IP protection, and contract negotiations, specifically within the music and entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Contract Management & Negotiation

• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to artists, labels, distribution, licensing, partnerships, endorsements, and other commercial activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific legal frameworks and best practices in contract execution.
• Handle disputes and contractual obligations effectively.
• Create contract management system and maintain the database
• Regular filing and updation of the database online and offline both.
• Following up with vendors for closure of contracts

2. Intellectual Property (IP) & Compliance

4. Dispute Resolution & Litigation Support

5. Risk Management & Policy Development
