Description : About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced SAP S / 4 HANA FI Consultant with deep expertise in Financial Accounting, integrations, and cross-functional modules. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful SAP S / 4 HANA implementations, strong domain knowledge in financial processes, and the ability to design scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with business objectives.
You will play a key role in driving full lifecycle implementations, performing gap analyses, configuring FI modules, and supporting integration with MM, SD, and PS modules. The position demands hands-on technical and functional expertise to deliver reliable, efficient, and compliant finance solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Support :
- Lead or participate in at least 1 full-cycle SAP S / 4 HANA FI implementation and 2+ support / rollout projects.
- Design, configure, and implement SAP FI modules including General Ledger (G / L), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank & Cash Accounting.
- Handle New General Ledger functionalities such as parallel ledgers, document splitting, and multi-currency management.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and consolidation processes in alignment with statutory requirements.
Taxation & Compliance :
Configure and support taxation processes, including TDS, VAT, GST, and other statutory obligations.Ensure compliance with regional and international accounting standards (IFRS / IND AS).Integration & Cross-Functional Alignment :
Work on Business Partner (BP) configuration and ensure seamless integration with FI-MM, SD, and PS modules.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage interfaces with third-party systems and ensure smooth end-to-end data flow.Provide functional support for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).Process Optimization & Technical Analysis :
Conduct fit-gap analysis, prepare functional specifications, and drive solution design workshops.Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices for automation and digital transformation in finance.Collaborate with ABAP and technical teams to deliver optimized, performance-driven solutions.Stakeholder Management :
Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders by translating business requirements into SAP solutions.Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.Partner with internal and external teams to ensure system stability, scalability, and audit readiness.Required Skills & Qualifications :
9+ years of SAP FI experience, with a minimum of 2 years on SAP S / 4 HANA.Strong functional knowledge in Financial Accounting, Treasury, and Taxation processes.Hands-on expertise in G / L, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, and Asset Accounting.Proven experience in New G / L functionalities (parallel ledger, document splitting, currencies).Solid understanding of integration touchpoints with MM, SD, and PS.Experience in handling RICEFW objects, functional specification documentation, and testing.Working knowledge of Fiori apps relevant to Financial Accounting.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Professional certifications in SAP FI / S / 4 HANA Finance preferred.(ref : hirist.tech)
