Role Overview
The Solution Architect will lead the design, development, and integration of enterprise-wide HCM solutions with a strong focus on SAP SuccessFactors and Workforce Management. This role ensures scalable architecture, seamless system integration, and alignment with business objectives across HR and related functions. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, define solution strategies, and enable high-quality employee and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
Provide deep expertise across SAP SuccessFactors modules including EC, Recruiting, RMK, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Variable Pay, Succession & Development.
Understand business drivers and capabilities to design scalable and future-ready system architectures.
Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to influence business decisions through design and configuration recommendations.
Review proposed solutions early in the lifecycle and provide trade-off assessments to stakeholders.
Architect technical configurations and integrations following best practices, enterprise architecture frameworks, and technical standards.
Partner with IT operations and leadership to ensure smooth transition of solutions from testing to production.
Stay updated on HR technology trends and emerging tools to evaluate business impact.
Identify organizational, operational, and financial implications of architectural decisions.
Collaborate with Product Directors and stakeholders to define solution requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
Act as a liaison between product teams and business units, ensuring clarity in solution design and execution.
Required Experience
Proven background as a Solution Architect or Senior HCM Consultant.
Strong hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors, preferably within Retail environments.
Strong understanding of retail labor models, compliance requirements, and workforce operational workflows.
Expertise in integrations involving APIs, middleware platforms, and data mapping tools.
Technical Skills
SAP SuccessFactors certifications are mandatory; experience with Dayforce is a plus.
Ability to accelerate architecture design using AI-assisted modeling, natural language query tools, and generative copilots.
Knowledge of scalable SaaS configurations and modern integration patterns.
