Oracle Utilities Tester

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Utilities Tester with strong functional knowledge of CCS, CC&B, and C2M, along with hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and automation for Oracle Utilities implementations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality delivery across utility billing, metering, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles.
• Validate functional modules including billing, metering, payments, collections, and integrations.
• Perform API testing for REST and SOAP services, along with batch job validations.
• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
• Collaborate closely with developers and functional SMEs for root cause analysis, fixes, and retesting.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements to test artifacts and maintain test documentation.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Utilities products: CCS, CC&B, and C2M.
• Good understanding of the OUAF framework.
• Hands-on experience in functional and integration testing.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and test data preparation.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, REST Assured, and Postman.
• Understanding of batch processing and basics of performance testing.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and defect management skills.
• Exposure to Australian or US utilities markets.
• Knowledge of OCI / OIC deployment concepts and nuances.
• Experience working in global delivery or offshore–onsite models.
