Position : Senior Android Developer

Location : Noida

Job Type : Full-Time (Onsite)

Experience Required : 5+ years in Android development

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly Android applications. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining mobile applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using the latest frameworks and technologies.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define application features and requirements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, libraries, and services to enhance application functionality.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development and implement them as needed.
  • Ensure compatibility of applications across multiple devices and screen sizes.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in Android application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
  • Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Components, and Android Studio.
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party API integrations.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Solid understanding of design patterns, MVVM / MVP architecture, and modular development.
  • Knowledge of Google Play Store deployment, including app signing, submission, and publishing.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization tools like Android Profiler.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Reactive Programming frameworks (e.G., RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines).
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Firebase services (Crashlytics, Analytics, Push Notifications).
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Prior experience in leading Android projects or mentoring developers.
  • Published apps on the Google Play Store with a significant number of downloads.
