Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and strategic individual to lead a high-priority, enterprise wide initiative focused on Talent Management, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Workforce Planning, Organization Design / Job Architecture and Skill-Based Organization (SBO). This role is critical to shaping the future of how we harness skills across teams to stay agile, innovative, and customer centric.

As a COE SME, you will drive the strategic design, development, delivery and optimization of this large-scale transformation, working cross-functionally across varied stakeholder groups. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on our organizational agility, talent development, and long-term growth strategy.

The AD - TM is a senior SME role in the FK HR CoE team responsible for developing and driving key org and talent initiatives for FK. The Talent Management CoE team is at the forefront of designing and deploying cutting edge practices at Flipkart to build a sustainable future ready organization and workforce. With the backdrop of a rapidly changing business environment, this is an exciting time to work on org wide people centric initiatives, bringing significant long term positive shifts for the organisation

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Program Execution : Manage the end-to-end program lifecycle for the Org Design and SBO initiatives—planning, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Talent Review & Succession Planning : Build and execute end to end plan for the same
  • Workforce planning : Plan the roadmap for the org starting on this journey. Help Business Units deliver the same.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment :
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across departments to ensure project milestones are met
  • Facilitate Organization Design Analysis :
  • Support external partners in understanding org structures, gaining role clarity, and spans & layers analysis to optimize current architecture
  • Lead implementation of Skill-Based Organization Strategies :
  • Program manage creation of skills architecture, including skill taxonomies, capability frameworks, and integration into workforce planning and talent processes.
  • Enable Change & Communication :
  • Develop and execute change management and stakeholder engagement plans to ensure adoption of new models across all levels of the business.
  • Measure and Communicate Impact :
  • Define success metrics, track outcomes, and provide executive updates with data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Build Workforce planning and building ecosystem readiness of the org
  • Work towards ensuring the tech deployment of the Talent processes

Key Requirements :

  • Experience : Minimum of 15+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focused on strategic level work. Experience in eCommerce or large-scale organizations is highly preferred.
  • Educational Background : MBA in Human Resources from Tier 1 institutes preferably. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prosci, Org Design) will be a plus.

  • Skilled in navigating ambiguity, leading change efforts, and adapting approaches based on feedback and shifting priorities.

  • Comfortable using qualitative and quantitative data to assess impact, drive decisions, and refine strategies.
  • Collaboration & Facilitation :
  • Ability to facilitate conversations across diverse functions and translate complex org principles into actionable solutions.
  • HR & Talent Acumen :
  • Strong understanding of organizational effectiveness, skills-based practices, and the future of work in digital environments.
  • Metrics & Impact Tracking : Define KPIs, track progress, and communicate results to senior leadership, adjusting tactics as needed to maximize impact.
