Sap Advanced Business Application Programming Consultant

Experience Level : Senior Level (10 years +)

Job Summary :

Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of ABAP programs and enhancements across multiple SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, HCM, PP, etc.).

Develop and optimize Reports (ALV, Classical, Interactive), Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms, SAPscript).

Drive object-oriented programming initiatives using ABAP Objects (OOABAP) and modern ABAP techniques.

Implement and manage User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Points, and BTEs.

Design and manage integration solutions using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, and OData services.

Optimize and refactor existing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Oversee data migration and conversion activities using BDC, LSMW, or custom migration tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to understand complex business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.

Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer to junior ABAP consultants.

Deliver production support, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement sustainable fixes.

Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and support end-user training sessions.
