What You Should Know About This Job

We are seeking a proactive and target-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth

across two key verticals - branding & creative services, and newspaper / media space selling.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, pitching relevant solutions,

and closing deals for both branding assignments and print ad space sales.

Candidates from Mumbai need only apply.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Branding & Creative Services :

  • Generate leads and pitch branding, design, and digital creative solutions to corporates and startups
  • Understand client briefs and propose tailored service offerings (brand identity, packaging, digital creatives, corporate presentations, etc.)
  • Collaborate with creative teams to align on proposals and ensure delivery on client expectations
  • 2. Media Space Selling (Newspapers) :

  • Identify and approach businesses and agencies that require newspaper ad placements (legal notices, tenders, display ads, etc.)
  • Share rate cards, best deals, and release schedules with prospective clients
  • Coordinate with media houses to ensure smooth release of ads and timely execution
  • Educate clients on ad formats, positioning options, and compliance requirements
  • General Business Development Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Represent Skyline BDC at industry events and networking platforms
  • Maintain CRM records with accurate lead data and follow-up timelines
  • Drive revenue targets across both verticals and prepare regular business reports
  • Requirements :

  • 3-6 years of experience in business development, preferably in an advertising, branding, or media sales agency
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client servicing skills
  • Ability to multitask between creative service pitches and media space discussions
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
