Process – UK Accounting

Profile : Specialist / Senior Accountant

Job Description-

• Review the complete bookkeeping process for UK-based clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries and reconciliations as per UK GAAP and client-specific procedures / SOPs.
• Review bank reconciliations and payroll journals and finalize the monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Review VAT returns and ensure compliance with UK tax regulations, including necessary adjustments or updates.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, providing guidance and addressing complex financial concerns.
• Provide regular updates to clients and senior management regarding financial activities and status.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization in bookkeeping operations.
• Prepare and review financial forecasts and budgets and provide detailed financial analysis and strategic recommendations based on financial data.
• Support for preparing MIS reports, providing detailed insights into financial performance, trends, and key metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Payroll processing, review and basic knowledge will be an advantage
