MIPS is seeking an experienced Staff Application Engineer to drive Post-Sales technical engagements for the MIPS IP Business Unit. The Customer Success team is critical to the commercial success of the company by ensuring that MIPS solutions are able to meet customer requirements as well as enabling customers to deploy products faster.
In this role you will own post-sales issue resolution enabling MIPS partners to deploy their solutions more rapidly. This is a cross-functional role that will work closely with the IP Platform and Commercials teams as well as the Hardware and Software Engineering teams.
You will
- Provide industry-leading technical support to MIPS customers to enable their product success.
- Develop product demos and application notes highlighting key product features and capabilities.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to configure, test, and validate IP packages for delivery.
- Drive benchmark and workload analysis to highlight MIPS product advantages over the competition.
- Provide customer feedback and requirements for future MIPS products.
Ideal Qualifications Include
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 7 years&apos experiencePrevious experience supporting IP and / or SoC products.Proven track record of technical customer success in IP and / or SoC products.Familiarity with Arm / MIPS / RISC-V CPU architectures from either a hardware or low-level software perspective, ideally both.Strong verbal and written communication skills to audiences of varied background.Ability to simplify complex problems and navigate uncertainty.Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with Linux and common Linux based development tools.Experience with FPGA and other Emulation platforms.Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking systems.A Plus If You Have
Processor knowledge that spans embedded to high-performance application processors.Experience navigating ambiguity in a dynamic, startup-like, work environment.Show more
