Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and create test cases.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and track them using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
• Work closely with manual QA engineers to enhance test coverage and ensure high product quality.
• Generate detailed test reports and maintain documentation of test processes.
• Ensure automation best practices are followed and continuously improve testing efficiency.
