About Position :

The Senior Software Engineer within Technical Services designs, develops, and maintains custom client-facing software solutions for our CyberGrants product. This role takes ownership of complex technical work, actively contributes to implementation decisions, and ensures our integrations are performant, reliable, and maintainable. It works cross-functionally to ensure requirements are well-understood, solutions meet client needs, and technical best practices are upheld. As company evolves its AI-first engineering strategy, this role is expected to champion the use of AI tools to improve delivery velocity, consistency, and system reliability.

What You'll Do :

  • 5–8 years of professional experience in software development
  • Experience in SaaS, enterprise platforms, or mission-driven tech environments
  • Familiarity with Bonterra’s tech stack (e.G., PL / SQL, Oracle, Java, JavaScript, AWS)
  • Comfort using AI-based tools in day-to-day development
  • Exposure to legacy modernization projects or high-availability systems

    • Expertise You'll Bring :

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.G., Oracle)
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and related frameworks / libraries (e.G., jQuery, AJAX).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives from design through deployment
  • Experience with version control, testing strategies, and agile team practices
  • Ability to produce clear and maintainable documentation for systems, workflows, and processes
  • Capable of operating independently in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
