Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

OCI Security Specialist

to drive secure-by-design Oracle Cloud deployments and safeguard enterprise environments. This role requires hands-on expertise with OCI security services, compliance frameworks, and identity management, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure resilient and compliant cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage

OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Threat Intelligence, Data Safe, VSS, WAF, Network Firewall

and integrate with

SIEM, CSPM, CASB

tools.

Design and enforce

OCI IAM policies, dynamic groups, federation (SSO / SAML / OIDC), MFA, and RBAC

ensuring least-privilege access.

Conduct

vulnerability scans

using OCI VSS, Qualys, or Tenable, oversee remediation, and manage patch compliance.

Ensure

compliance with regulatory standards

(GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2) and cloud frameworks (CSA CCM, OCI CIS Benchmarks).

Architect secure OCI environments aligned to

Zero Trust and defense-in-depth principles .

Implement

data security controls

such as encryption, tokenization, and vault-based key management.

Lead

incident detection and response , integrating OCI security monitoring with SIEM platforms and managing investigations.

Partner with DevOps to

embed security into CI / CD pipelines

and mentor junior engineers on OCI security practices.

Candidate Profile

Proven expertise in

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) security services .

Strong knowledge of

identity & access management, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks .

8+ years in security operations with at least 3+ years in OCI environments preferred.

Oracle Security certifications (OCI, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) will be an advantage.

Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work independently in a client-facing environment.

Work Schedule

Shift :

Middle East timings (10 : 30 AM – 7 : 30 PM IST)

Workdays : Sunday to Thursday

(Weekly off : Friday & Saturday)
