URGENT : Automation Test Engineer (Full-Time Remote, 6+ Month Contract, USA ET Working hours)

We are looking for an experienced

Automation Engineer

with strong proficiency in

Selenium

using

C# or Java . The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can hit the ground running and deliver immediate value. This is a

full-time remote position

offered on a

6-month contract , with the possibility of extension based on performance. Please note that the role requires

night-shift hours

to align with our

U.S.-based client’s

time zone.

Qualifications :

Mandatory minimum of 4 years hands-on experience with

Selenium and C# or Java .

Proficiency in Visual Studio .Net C# or Java, XPath, Javascript, SQL, API, and Postman is a must.

Proficiency in conducting functional software testing, including the ability to design, implement, and execute test cases based on acceptance criteria and business requirements.

Strong knowledge of industry best practices in software testing, including the identification and reporting of defects, regression testing, and test documentation.

Ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders to define and refine acceptance criteria, ensuring that software meets the specified business needs.

Ability to write test cases based on complex technical requirements independently.

Key qualifications include exceptional troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, acute attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

The ability to collaborate effectively within a team is equally crucial.

Nice to Have :

Experience with Playwright and TypeScript.

Familiarity with JMeter or other performance testing tools.
