1. Identification and mapping of coal seams through field surveys and drilling data.

2. Core logging and lithological description of coal-bearing strata.

3. Laboratory analysis of coal samples for ash, moisture, sulfur, and calorific value.

4. Stratigraphic correlation across boreholes and geological sections.

5. Interpretation of geophysical logs (gamma-ray, resistivity, density).

6. Estimation of coal reserves using geological modeling software.

7. Creation of 3D geological models for seam geometry and quality distribution.

8. Structural analysis of faults, folds, and seam discontinuities.

9. GIS-based mapping of coal deposits and geological features.

10. Support in mine planning through geological input and seam analysis.

11. Hydrogeological assessment for groundwater impact on mining.

12. Geotechnical evaluation of overburden and roof stability.

13. Monitoring and control of coal quality during extraction.

14. Preparation of geological reports for regulatory compliance.

15. Contribution to environmental impact assessments and reclamation planning.

Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field

Relevant Work Experience – Minimum 10 years in geological field, of coal, mineral,bauxite, Limestone.
