Part Time -Backend Engineer (Java / Kotlin) -5-6 hours

We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer with strong Kotlin or Java expertise to join our team and contribute to the development and optimization of mission-critical backend systems. This role involves building robust APIs, ensuring reliable data flow across systems, and working closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and integrations using Java or Kotlin (strong preference for Kotlin).
• Work extensively with complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to ensure efficient data flow between applications and databases.
• Support and enhance SOAP-based APIs critical to enterprise integration layers.
• Analyze, debug, and optimize existing backend logic for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable smooth integration, testing, and deployment.
• Communicate effectively with client stakeholders, providing transparency, clarity, and timely updates.
