Full Stack Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of experience with modern front-end frameworks including React
• Next.js and TypeScript experience preferred
• 5+ years of experience with .NET / C# for backend development
• Strong experience in .NET and visual Studio development environments
• Experience with unit testing frameworks – NUnit
• Hands on experience with Rest API development and OpenAPI standards
• Strong knowledge of version control systems, including Git
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, CloudFront, Cognito, S3, SNS, SES, and EventBridge
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• PostgreSQL (Aurora), DynamoDB, and ElasticSearch
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and managing npm packages
• Familiar with agile methodologies and DevOps practices – Azure DevOps
• Experience developing microservices in cloud environments (Azure and AWS)

Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle—from design and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance—of innovative applications on the company’s platform. This is a hands-on development position where you’ll contribute to building high-quality, scalable software products that support some of the most prestigious higher education and research institutions. This Software Engineer collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, apply engineering best practices, and take ownership of software components and technical solutions. This role requires both strong technical acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities will include :

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support high-quality software products
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Implementation, and Support teams to align technical development with business needs.
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming to share knowledge and improve code quality.
• Develop and execute comprehensive unit test plans.
• Work within agile development teams, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and environmental issues across projects.
• Support and update existing internal applications and services.
• Collaborate with offshore development teams to ensure consistency and quality.
• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and modular front-end components.
• Contribute to developer documentation, release notes, and technical specifications.
