About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced QA / QC Mechanical Inspector to join our team in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across mechanical systems and fabrication works within our oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on inspection experience and a strong understanding of codes, standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct inspections of mechanical systems, piping, welding, and fabrication activities in accordance with approved procedures and project requirements.

Verify that all mechanical works comply with drawings, specifications, and industry standards (ASME, API, etc.).

Review and maintain QA / QC documentation, including inspection reports, welding logs, and test records.

Coordinate with construction, engineering, and project teams to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

Monitor material quality, equipment calibration, and inspection readiness.

Participate in audits, punch list activities, and final handover documentation.

Ensure adherence to company quality management systems and HSE policies at all times.

Qualifications & Experience :

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1) or equivalent certification required.

Minimum 5 years of experience in QA / QC roles within the oil & gas sector.

Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques, standards, and NDT processes.

Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced project environment
