Finvasia - Assistant Manager - Accounts

Job Summary :

The Asst Accounts Manager will oversee all financial activities, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and lead the financial team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance, especially within the fintech or forex Manage and oversee financial activities for our overseas projects, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.

• Handle day-to-day accounting functions, including but not limited to, bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Proficient in handling multi-currency transactions and well-versed with SAP accounting software.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements related to overseas projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline financial processes.
• Participate in financial audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
• Maintain a strong control environment, implementing and monitoring financial policies and procedures.
• Monitor cash flow and financial health of overseas projects, providing insights for decision-making.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, both written and In-depth knowledge of taxation and other compliances related to international projects.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Should have 5-7 years of experience in the field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a financial service or fintech firm.
• Extensive experience with SAP and other financial management systems.
• Knowledge of EU financial regulations and frameworks would be an advantage.
• Deep understanding of the fintech / forex industry and its regulatory environment.
• Adaptability to different cultures and understanding of global business practices.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
