Crum & Forster - System Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Windows Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting Windows server environments in a large-scale, enterprise setting. This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Windows servers and related infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems (2012 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022) and related components.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services.
• Perform regular system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
• Implement and maintain security policies, including patch management, antivirus, and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to support application deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
• Maintain documentation related to system configuration, processes, and service records.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
