Key Responsibilities -
In-Process Quality Control
Inspect raw materials (active materials, binders, solvents, collectors) and verify certificates.
Monitor slurry mixing (speed, time, temperature, viscosity) and test solid content, pH, homogeneity.
inspect defects (pinholes, uneven coating, delamination).
conduct residual solvent testing.
inspect cracks / particledetachment.
Inspect slitting accuracy, burrs, edge cracks, contamination.
Ensure moisture-controlled electrode storage (KF moisture testing).
Detect defects early, provide real-time feedback, and halt production when needed.
Maintain traceability of parameters, inspection results, and batch data.
Validate and approve mixing, coating, drying, calendaring, and slitting processes.
ensure cleanroom compliance.
Perform SPC (Cp, Cpk), monitor process drift, and implement adjustments.
Conduct RCA and implement CAPA for recurring defects.
Ensure calibration and qualification of measurement and processing equipment.
Maintain and update SOPs, WIs, and support customer / internal audits.
Quality Improvement
support corrective actions.
Engage in continuous improvement and maintain value stream maps for E / A / B Zones.
Lab Management
Oversee in-process labs, testing accuracy, and equipment performance.
Support technicians, resolve testing / instrument issues, manage cell aging and defective batch segregation.
Training & Documentation
Lead training for quality technicians and develop OJT modules.
support APQP (PFC, FMEA, Control Plans).
Collaboration & Compliance
Coordinate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
Leadership
promote a zero-defect mindset.
Qualifications -
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Chemistry or related field.
8+ years in quality assurance (EV battery preferred).
Strong in QC methods, SPC, testing, defect analysis, and quality systems.
experience with value stream mapping and inspection criteria.
