About the Role :

We are looking for a talented and experienced WordPress Developer with strong expertise in custom development, BigCommerce, and CakePHP. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling end-to-end website development, customization, and optimization while maintaining excellent communication with team members and clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.

Work on custom web development projects and ensure high-quality delivery.

Handle BigCommerce store setup, customization, and maintenance.

Develop and maintain web applications using CakePHP .

Convert PSD / Figma designs into responsive WordPress themes.

Integrate third-party APIs and custom functionalities.

Optimize website speed, performance, security, and SEO.

Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to meet project goals.

Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and provide updates.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications :

4–5 years of professional experience as a WordPress Developer.

Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery .

Experience with custom theme & plugin development .

Knowledge and experience with BigCommerce and CakePHP .

Familiarity with WooCommerce customization and payment gateway integration.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have :

Experience with other CMS platforms like Shopify or Joomla.

Knowledge of REST APIs and headless WordPress.

Basic knowledge of React or Vue.js.
