About the Role
Dirtcube Interactive in partnership with Gods and Heroes Studio is creating genre-defining experiences in the multiplayer sports and action space. Our title, Gods of Cricket , is the world’s first full-scale 11v11 multiplayer cricket game built on Unreal Engine.

We are looking for Unreal developers who are passionate about gameplay, physics, and performance optimization to bring our ambitious projects to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core gameplay systems using C++ and Blueprints in Unreal Engine (UE4 / UE5).
- Design and implement game mechanics, player controls, physics interactions, AI systems and UI integration.
- Work on multiplayer gameplay logic, replication, and server-side optimizations.
- Optimize game performance for mobile, PC, and console platforms.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and other engineers to implement engaging gameplay features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices.
- Debug and fix critical issues related to gameplay, physics, and networking.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience : 3 to5 years minimumStrong C++ programming skills, with hands-on experience in Unreal Engine (preferably UE5).Strong understanding of advanced game physics, including collision handling, ragdoll systems, projectile mechanics, and real-time physics interactions.Familiar with multiplayer networking concepts, replication, RPCs, and client-server models.Experience integrating third-party libraries and plugins.Ability to profile and optimize game performance and memory usage.Familiarity with version control systems like Git.Bonus Skills
Exposure to performance profiling and debugging tools like Unreal Insights and RenderDoc.Familiarity with Unreal Engine sub systems, including Gameplay Tags, Asset Management, and modular gameplay frameworksKnowledge of shader programming (HLSL) or material optimization for performance on multiple platforms.Understanding of live service game architecture and scalable game systems.Soft Skills
Strong technical communication skills and the ability to explain complex visual or pipeline issues to team members.Proactive mindset with a passion for solving real-time challenges.Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, agile environments.
