Job Profile : Position details :

The Senior AI / GenAi Engineer will support the development, deployment, and governance of AI and GenAI solutions. This role emphasizes hands-on execution, cross-functional collaboration, and operational enablement to drive adoption of AI technologies across the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Strategic Execution, Governance Support, Stakeholder Engagement

Assist in implementing the strategic roadmap for AI and GenAI initiatives.

Support the establishment and enforcement of governance frameworks and compliance policies.

Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and promote AI capabilities.

Facilitate coordination and communication across departments to ensure alignment and transparency.

AI / GenAI Solution Delivery :

Contribute to identifying and evaluating innovative AI / GenAI use cases.

Participate in the development of AI applications, models, and prototypes.

Collaborate on functional and process design, scenario mapping, testing, and support planning.

Support the development and enhancement of chatbot solutions (e.G., ChatGPT) and automation workflows using LLMs, vector databases, and AI frameworks.

Assist in evaluating LLMs from key market providers and provide technical input.

Offer advisory support on AI-related technologies and tools.

Security and Risk Management :

Implement and monitor security controls for AI models and data.

Ensure AI solutions comply with organizational security standards and policies.

Training and Enablement :

Contribute to the creation and delivery of training materials for AI / GenAI tools.

Support user enablement through tech talks, documentation, and community-building efforts.

Help foster a knowledge-sharing culture and community of practice.

Support and Maintenance :

Provide operational support and maintenance for deployed AI solutions.

Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.

Job Requirements :

Qualifications and education requirements :

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT industry.

At least 8 years of hands-on experience applying AI technologies in enterprise solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.

Professional certifications in AI, or Data Science are advantageous.

Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.

Preferred Skills : Technical Expertise

Working knowledge of AI / GenAI technologies including ML, NLP, and generative models.

Familiarity with AI frameworks (e.G., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Experience with Azure Cloud services, MS OpenAI, AI Search, Form Recognizer, ADLS, Cosmos DB.

Deep understanding and practical experience with LLMs such as GPT, Llama, Claude, T5, BERT, etc.

Familiar with open source such as projects like LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenLLM, OpenAI

Excellent knowledge in Prompt Engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, agentic AI.

Understanding MLOps and DataOps practices.

Experience with REST APIs and frameworks like Django, Express.Js, Spring Boot.

Knowledge of modern data platforms, NoSQL / RDBMS design, and optimization.

Experience with data integration and analytics tools.

Governance and Compliance :

Awareness of AI governance principles and risk mitigation strategies.

Communication and Training :

Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience supporting training initiatives and documentation.

Problem-Solving and Innovation :

Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving technical challenges.
