Job Purpose
To execute the Information Technology related services effectively as per the given guidelines
and ensure smooth support for LMS Applications.
Job Outline
At ISB, Information Technology (IT) plays a key role in providing the requisite IT infrastructure facilities to all the stakeholders, to drive its strategic objectives in its research, teaching, and business functions.
S / he needs to have.
Collaborate with academic teams to plan, test, and roll out new digital academic processes or enhancements.
Gather user requirements for new academic initiatives and translate them into clear functional specifications.
Support implementation of new academic projects , including system setup, configuration, pilot testing, and user onboarding.
Point of contact for faculty, students, and academic associates to resolve functional and technical issues whenever required
Coordinate with vendors, development teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of academic technology initiatives.
Work hands on Moodle configuration. Design and maintain APIs to integrate with other systems. Quality Delivery on-time
Meeting both stated & unstated IT needs of end users.
Evaluating and adopting new technologies / new trends
Assisting end users with LMS functional questions
General support and troubleshooting of day-to-day LMS issues like performance, connectivity, dumps, API configurations, background scheduled jobs, authorization and roles and rectify minor cross platform integration problems.

Graduate / Master’s degree in computers
Strong hands-on working experience with Moodle administration and PHP technologies
Prior experience in implementation and support of Moodle solutions
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and Server handling and any open-source technologies
Strong exposure to SDLC / Strong Exposure to IT Operations management
Logical and Business function exposure (preferably Education domain)
Interpersonal skills, Customer Orientation, Teamwork, Attention to details

1 Collaborate with academic teams, IT, vendors, and development teams for issue resolution and project execution. Ensure effective communication and updates throughout the project lifecycle. Track and report progress of initiatives to management. 40%
2 To handle queries, escalations, issues on LMS from various customers on day-to-day basis – providing regular IT operations support 10%
3 Maintain clear documentation of processes, configurations, changes, and support activities. Ensure compliance with institutional audit standards and academic governance protocols. Maintain a knowledge base to reduce dependency on individuals. 20%
4 Assist in planning, configuration, testing, and rollout of new digital academic initiatives. Ensure on-time delivery of project milestones and coordination with stakeholders. Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide feedback for improvements. 20%
5 Vetting non-core features for the LMS requested by end users before installing / developing / deploying on the system 10%
