About the Role :

As a Workday Financial Consultant, the role revolves around leveraging subject matter expertise to provide functional finance solutions within various modules.
This includes comprehensive knowledge of finance accounting, supplier & customer accounts / contracts, financial reporting, and planning.
The consultant is responsible for ensuring seamless integration and functionality across all work streams, while advising clients on industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities :

Offer subject matter expertise to provide functional finance solutions in various modules, with a focus on core finance accounting.

Ensure cohesion and cross-functional integration of Workday Financials solution across different work streams.

Understand and analyze business needs for the Finance Accounting module and translate them into effective Workday solutions.

Configure BP, security, setups, data conversion, testing, and reports within the Finance module.

Collaborate with Business teams / SMEs to identify requirements, design functionalities, prototype, test, and define support procedures.

Conduct working sessions with clients to gather and comprehend business requirements.

Manage clients and stakeholders effectively to achieve project objectives.

Support innovation by introducing new industry-leading methods.

Essential Skills :

Proficiency in finance module knowledge, particularly finance accounting within Workday.

Additional knowledge in Supplier & Customer Accounts / Contracts, financial reporting, and planning within Workday.

Understanding of Workday application development methodologies, including planning, design, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

Strong client and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate business needs into effective Workday solutions.

Essential Qualifications :

Preferably to have Workday finance functional certification in finance accounting (Record to Report Workday certification).

BE / master’s degree in computer science / application (MCA, MSc Computer Science from the Premier Institute.
