QA Automation Engineer (Subcon) – Bangalore

💰 Compensation : 2.2 LPM | 🧠 Experience : 7+ Years

📅 Engagement Type : Subcontract (Full-time)

We’re seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Engineer to own the end-to-end quality assurance for our next-generation AI-driven platforms — Velocity and Agentic AI . This role is ideal for a QA professional with a passion for automation, scalability, and ensuring excellence across complex, multimedia-rich systems.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Platform Quality Ownership

Drive the QA strategy and execution for AI-powered video generation, workflow automation, and orchestration platforms.
Ensure seamless quality across all components — UI, API, backend, integrations (LLMs, cloud services), and output assets (video, audio, image, JSON).

🔹 Functional & Exploratory Testing

Plan, design, and execute comprehensive functional and exploratory tests across multimedia workflows.

Validate end-to-end user experiences including video rendering accuracy, agent fallback logic, and API reliability.

🔹 Automation Engineering

Build robust automation frameworks from the ground up for UI, API, backend, and system-level testing.

Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality.

Choose and optimize your own automation stack for speed, maintainability, and scalability.

🔹 Performance & Resilience Testing

Identify and mitigate quality risks such as concurrency issues, multimedia processing failures, LLM timeouts, or agent orchestration gaps.

Conduct performance, load, and regression testing to ensure platform reliability at scale.

🔹 Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with engineering, product, design, and AI teams to uphold quality in rapid release cycles.

Actively contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of QA experience in product / platform environments.

Proven experience managing QA for complex, scalable systems (web apps, APIs, backend services).

Hands-on experience testing web applications with multimedia workflows (video, audio, image).

Prior exposure to cloud-native , ML-powered , or agent-based platforms.

Strong ability to identify test coverage gaps and proactively mitigate risks.

Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling test automation frameworks .

Proficiency in automating tests across UI, API, integration, and backend layers .

Experience integrating automation into CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
