Location : Hyderabad

We are looking for a highly motivated UAV Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UAV systems, including Cube Orange setup, Ardupilot configuration, and connecting various UAV peripherals. This position is ideal for fresh graduates as well as professionals with up to 1-2 years of experience in UAV system engineering. The selected candidate will undergo training in Pune before being relocated to our office in Hyderabad for regular duties.

Responsibilities :

  • Pixhawk Cube Orange Setup : Setup and configure the Cube Orange flight controller for various UAV platforms.
  • Ardupilot Configuration : Install, configure, and calibrate Ardupilot firmware for UAV flight control, ensuring it meets performance requirements.
  • UAV Peripherals Integration : Connect and configure UAV peripherals including GPS, IMUs, cameras, motors, servos, and sensors with the Cube Orange controller.
  • System Testing : Conduct ground and flight tests to validate system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all systems are fully operational.
  • Diagnostics & Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve issues in hardware and software during the integration and testing phases.
  • Documentation : Maintain detailed records of system configurations, setup processes, troubleshooting steps, and test results.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with other engineers, including software and hardware teams, to ensure seamless integration of all UAV systems.
  • Continuous Learning : Stay updated on industry advancements, new tools, and technologies related to UAV systems.

Requirements :

Educational Qualification :

  • Bachelor's degree / diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or related fields).
  • Freshers or candidates with up to 1-2 years of experience in UAV systems engineering are encouraged to apply.

    • Technical Skills :

  • Hands-on experience with Cube Orange flight controller setup and configuration.
  • Proficiency in Ardupilot configuration and firmware management for UAV systems.
  • Knowledge of integrating UAV peripherals such as GPS, ESCs, sensors, cameras, and IMUs.
  • Familiarity with MAVLink and related communication protocols.
  • Experience with Mission Planner or similar ground control software for UAV operations.
  • Basic knowledge of C++ / Python or other scripting languages for configuring and customizing UAV systems.
  • Soft Skills :
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for hands-on work and technology.

    • Location :

  • Training will be held in Pune. After the completion of the training, the candidate will be relocated to Hyderabad for regular duties.

    • Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

  • Experience with AeroGCS Orange / Green.
  • Knowledge of UAV airframe design and integration.
  • Familiarity with autonomous flight modes and UAV mission planning.
