Job description

Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake-based data pipelines, data models, and ETL workflows to support business intelligence and reporting needs.

Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, ensuring data is accurately processed and made available for reporting.

Work with Snowflake’s data warehousing architecture to manage data loading, querying, and optimization processes.

Implement best practices for data modeling and design in Snowflake to ensure scalability, performance, and data integrity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions.

Manage and optimize Snowflake environments, including performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization to ensure high performance and low latency.

Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL scripts, stored procedures, and other Snowflake tools.

Ensure data security, governance, and compliance by implementing roles, permissions, and access controls within the Snowflake environment.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, data integrity, and query performance in Snowflake and SQL environments.

Monitor and report on the status of data integration and pipeline processes, ensuring that data flows seamlessly and issues are identified early.

Provide training and support to teams on best practices for querying Snowflake, building data models, and working with SQL.
