Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HRBP to lead the people function and manage the HR team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with the company’s vision, culture, and growth objectives. This role will oversee all aspects of human resources — including talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and compliance — while fostering a high-performance, people-first culture and building a strong foundation for scale, growth, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop plans / policies for matters such as employee compensation, benefits, health-safety, performance / talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.
- Support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training / learning & development, etc., to enhance employee growth & satisfaction.
- Oversee all HR activities, initiatives, systems, and tactics & provide expert guidance.
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with applicable laws & regulations; recommend best practices; review and modify policies as required.
- Deal with grievances and violations, invoking disciplinary action when required.
- Design & implement HR dashboards that present data in a meaningful & actionable framework for leadership, ensuring quality assurance & delivering insights.
- Participate in executive, management, & company employee meetings and attend other meetings, seminars as & when required.
- Conduct research & analysis to maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, & new technologies in human resources, talent management, & employment law; apply this knowledge & communicate updates to all employees and upper management.
- Develop & implement the departmental budget.
- Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
- Communicate with external service providers such as housing, transport, insurance, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
MBA in Human Resources or Business Administration is a must.Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as an HR leader with knowledge in HR operations, employment legislation & regulations, along with tech recruitment across different regions.Ability to anticipate and resolve litigation risks.Full understanding of how a startup operates to align with its vision, mission, and values, and the ability to convey the same to all employees.Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles & best practices.Strong business acumen paired with attention to the human element.Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.Excellent organizational & leadership skills.About the Company
