Due to growing success within the Technology and Security Consulting Business we are looking for an experienced ICT & Telecommunications Engineer (Principal / Associate Level) to lead the ANZ Technology Systems iCRC Team on a permanent staff basis. You will be joining a growing Technology Systems team and helping deliver leading edge technology solutions to various clients, across the following sectors :
- Healthcare
- Commercial / Mixed Use Developments
- Data Centres
- Aviation
- Transport & Infrastructure An essential part of the role will be to lead a team of engineers and designers who will be based in iCRC as part of the Technology Systems ANZ Team. You will be the primary point of contact for the leadership team in ANZ and within iCRC.
Responsibilities
As a Team Lead – ICT & Telecommunications you will be responsible for the following :
Attend Technology Systems Team Leads MeetingsCoordiante workloads for iCRC TeamCoordinate staffing issues with iCRC HR TeamsAssit in the training and development of staffCoordinate resocure sharing (both ways) with other iCRC Technology TeamsUndertake quality assurance of all documents.As an accomplished Senior Engineer you will be responsible for development and publishing of Telecommunications Designs to support projects by undertaking detailed designs relating to ICT & Telecommunications Systems including :
Structured Cabling Systems (SCS)Communications Rooms and supporting systems inlculing rack elevationsOutside Plant Infrastructure (OSP)Active ICT NetworksWireless LANRF SystemsAV SystemsElectronic security systemsTechnology platforms and systems (i.e., nurse call systems, video conference systems, unified comms solutions, space management solutions, etc.)You will also be responsible for overseeing the preparation of reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings to enable the tendering of works to enable a suitably qualified integrator / contractor to undertake the installation and commission of the systems and solutions.
You will also be responsible for detailed Quality Reviews for the work that is developed within the iCRC.
The successful candidate will also be required to mentor junior and graduate engineers and work within a multi-discipline (ICT & Telecommunications, Audio Visual, Security, Automation and Integration and Smart Places) design team.
The right candidate will be well versed and experienced in ICT and Telecommunications design utilising standards such as BICSI, ISO, IEEE, Certified Wireless Network Professional Design Guidelines, Cisco & Aruba networking and wireless design guidelines.
As such the successful candidate have vendor and industry certifications to demonstrate capability and skill level.
Qualifications
The candidate must demonstrate the qualifications and experience / capability described below :
