About Role & Responsibilities :

  • Manpower planning as per business requirements with budgeted cost and headcount.
  • Recruitment of employees in all categories, salary fitments, and induction of new entrants.
  • Monitor the man-machine ratio in line with productivity.
  • Preparing annual manpower budget for the plant.
  • Master in statutory compliance wrt all labour and factory laws.
  • Overall supervision on Time office / Payroll management.
  • Co-ordinating and execute the talent development projects.
  • Skill development of M / c Operators and contract labours.
  • Responsible for Plant administrative work like Security / Housekeeping, Gardening, Office automation, CCTV / canteen, transport, and Hospitality management.
  • Responsible for the culture of the factory and employees.
  • Liasioning with local people, Govt agencies, General public.
  • Contract Labour Management.
  • All above to be done in close coordination with Divisional / Corporate HR at Chennai.
  • Welfare and safety of employees / event management.
  • Monitoring end-to-end training activities, in line with IATF / OHSAS requirements.
  • Should be able to face the internal, external and customer audits.

Experience :

8 to 10 years from the manufacturing sector

Qualification : MSW (HR) or MBA (HR)
